We

My
mum
has
been
at
Moulsham
Care
Home
for
the
last
four
years. I am very happy with the care she receives.
The
staff
are
all
kind,
caring
and
supportive.
They
go
above
and
beyond
to
make
sure
she
is
comfortable
and
happy.
I'm
always
updated
on
her
health
and
well
being
and
appreciate
this.
The
home
is
always
clean.
Lots
of
activities
and
entertainment. The food is great too.
I would highly recommend this home to anyone.

What a fantastic care home.
The
staff
are
both
friendly,
attentive
and
caring
towards
the
residents.
My sister is so happy in her respite stay.
I
have
piece
of
mind
that
my
sister
is
receiving
good
care
and
has her needs met.
The
staff
are
very
welcoming
to
me
and
other
visitors,
presenting a very relaxed and friendly environment.
Well done and thank you to all the staff at Moulsham Home.

My aunt seems happy at Moulsham Street.
She
appears
well-looked
after,
amply
stimulated
by
staff
and
able
to
lead
as
active
a
life
as
she
is
capable
of.
Her
medical
and
financial
needs
appear
to
be
well-managed
and
her
needs for care and companionship satisfied.
The
staff
seem
friendly,
caring
and
always
ready
to
help.
Visits
are
easy
to
arrange
and
visitors
welcomed
into
the
home.

My mother moved into the Moulsham Home in August 2024.
My
sister
and
I
had
been
looking
at
different
homes
for
a
couple
of
years.
From
the
first
visit,
this
home
stood
out
and
the
key
thing
was
the
owner/manager.
She
is
outstanding
versus
managers
elsewhere.
We
felt
that
for
her
this
is
more
than
just
a
business,
it
is
also
a
vocation
-
a
pivotal
difference. That sets the tone for the culture.
We
see
it
in
the
empathy
and
care
of
the
team,
particularly
the
senior
team
and
there
are
excellent
young
staff
too.
Their
responsiveness
to
feedback
had
been
important
and
much
appreciated.
We
were
quite
nervous
about
my
mother
taking
this
step
and
had
strong
opinions
about
how
she
should
be looked after.
The
food
is
mostly
home
cooking
from
scratch.
There
is
no
danger
of
anyone
being
undernourished
in
this
home,
there
is
a
strong
focus
on
nutrition
and
catering
to
individual
preferences
and
needs.
Also,
all
residents
are
always
clean
and well-dressed.

My
friend
was
struggling
to
cope
at
home
and
had
already
contacted
Moulsham
Home
before
she
was
suddenly
admitted
to hospital.
It
was
such
a
relief
that
when,
after
a
few
days,
she
was
ready
for
discharge
she
could
immediately
go
to
this
Home
on
a temporary basis.
The
staff
were
welcoming
and
dealt
with
a
potentially
difficult
transition
very
well.
The
future
for
my
friend
is
uncertain,
but
I
and
her
other
friends
know
that
for
now,
she
is safe, well-supported, warm, and well-fed.

Our
aunt
first
came
to
Moulsham
Care
Home
in
April
2024,
initially
for
two
weeks
of
respite
care
while
her
house
was
re-
wired.
We
chose
this
care
home
because
we
had
been
impressed
by
how
helpful
and
professional
the
owner
was,
with
clearly
a
strong team of friendly, kind and efficient carers and we
felt
it
had
a
lovely,
homely
ambience.
Our
aunt
was
very
quickly
put
at
her
ease
and
within
a
few
days
had
settled
in
very well.
We
cannot
praise
the
owner
and
staff
at
Moulsham
Care
Home
enough
for
the
excellent
care
and
compassion
they
have
shown
to
her.
Her
life
has
been
transformed,
having
arrived
somewhat
unkempt
and
underweight,
she
is
now
a
healthy
weight,
always
clean
and
nicely
dressed,
enjoys
trips
out
and
loves
the
audiobooks
they
have
introduced
her
to
and
enjoys
the
company,
none
of
which
she
had
at
home.
She
liked
it
so
much
in
fact
that
decided
that
she
would
like
to
stay
in
the
care
home
permanently
which
is
a
testament
to
what an outstanding establishment it is.

The
carers
are
very
friendly
and
helpful,
they
take
great
care
of

My

kept
clean
and
tidy
and
has
regular
dental

The

Mum
has
been
a
resident
for
over
2
1/2
years
now;
she
arrived
with
advanced
Alzheimer's
and
is
now
much
more
advanced
of
course
but
she
has
been
treated
with
gentle
care
and
an
upbeat
attitude
throughout.
I
like
to
think
Mum
feels
safe
at
Moulsham
Home,
I
know
I
feel
secure
knowing
she
is
in safe hands.
Before
Mum
went
into
care
(on
the
death
of
my
92-year-old
father)
I
had
looked
at
several
Care
Homes
in
the
Chelmsford
area
for
respite
care.
Only
Moulsham
Home
responded
to
my
enquiry
with
the
applicable
information
and
showed
interest
at
a
personal
level
without
a
sales
pitch.
The
kindness
shown
to
me
at
a
time
of
huge
stress
and
upset
made
the
decision
an
easy
one.
My
family
are
so
thankful
that
Moulsham
Home
had availability when we urgently needed it.

Widowed,
lonely,
irritable,
frail
and
imprisoned
in
her
own
home
during
lockdown,
my
mother
was
transformed
after
her
move to Moulsham Home.
She
very
soon
rediscovered
her
smile
and
her
appetite
and
seemed
to
thrive
again
in
the
sort
of
social
setting
she
could
no
longer
have
at
home.
Three
years
later,
she
describes
herself
as
very
happy
in
Moulsham
Home.
She
says
she
feels
at
home,
well
fed
and
well
looked
after.
With
her
frailty
and
dementia,
she
is
completely
reliant
on
the
impressive
patience
and
vigilance
of
the
staff
who
I
find
to
be
cheerful,
conscientious and easy to deal with.

My mother is a long term resident at the home.
Mum
is
always
well
cared
for
and
she
is
always
spotless
and
well-fed
even
at
last
stage
of
Alzheimer's.
Mum
is
bed-bound
but
has
a
beautiful
room
that
is
light
and
airy.
She
has
the
radio
playing
in
the
background
and
staff
are
monitoring
her
all the time.
Moulsham
Home
has
only
every
had
staff
that
are
kind
and
caring.
Being
a
smaller
establishment
it
really
feels
like
being
in your own home.

I
visit
my

regularly
and
am
always
warmly
welcomed
and
kept
up
to

with
any

in
my
Nan’s

or
in
her

My

always
looks
cared

she
responds
very
warmly
to
the

as
they
interact

I
always

She
is
always
well
dressed
and
clean
and
is
genuinely
looked

to
the

in
every

My

Moulsham
Home
is
a
small
very
friendly,
care
home.
The
atmosphere
when
you
walk
in
is
one
of
a
family
home,
not
an
institution.
Food
is
home
cooked
and
plentiful,
fruits,
sweets
and crisps are available in bowls throughout the day.
The
staff
are
exceptionally
caring
and
patient.
Residents
individual
needs
are
met
with
such
kindness
and
in
a
very
timely
fashion.
The
staff
know
each
of
the
residents
and
what
they
like
and
dislike.
Visitors
are
welcomed
and
we
were offered a hot or cold drink on every visit we made.
My
Dad
received
exceptional
care
and
kindness
here
and
we
are
so
grateful
the
Moulsham
Home
team
for
that.
We
are
also
grateful
that
care
could
be
provided
so
quickly
in
an
emergency
situation.
I
really
couldn’t
have
left
my
Dad
anywhere
if
I
wasn’t
100%
comfortable
that
he
would
be
properly
looked
after
and
cared
for
and
at
Moulsham
Home,
he was.

Having
visited
a
number
of
care
homes
Moulsham
Residential
Care Home ticked all the boxes.
It
was
clean
the
manager
and
the
staff
were
friendly,
caring
and
professional
and
the
fact
that
it
was
small
meant
that
my
mother
and
father
would
receive
the
personal
attention
they
required.
I
have
not
been
disappointed.
I
would
thoroughly
recommend
this
facility
to
anyone
considering
residential

This is an updated review to my earlier review from last year.
My
Mother
has
been
in
this
home
since
Feb
2013.
She
has
Late
stage
Alzheimers
and
now
needs
complete
care
and
although
she
has
a
shared
light
and
bright
bedroom,
staff
ensure
sure
she
is
up
and
dressed
and
in
the
lounge
where
she
can
see
the
comings
and
goings.
The
care
she
receives
is
excellent.
She
has
benefited
greatly
from
being
in
a
small
home
with
only
19
residents
that
has
the
same
senior
staff
as
when
she
arrived.
Visitors
are
always
welcome
and
there
are
no
restrictions
on
when
you
can
visit.
There
are
activities
and
regular
visits
from
entertainers
and
weekly
visits
from
a
hairdresser.
I would not hesitate to recommend the home others.

My
mother
lived
alone
in
Manchester
and
was
deteriorating
slowly.
I
had
been
looking
at
care
homes
since
August
2014,
when
I
met
the
manager
of
Moulsham
Home.
Straight
away
with
no
appointment she took me around, I felt welcome.
Mum
was
moved
to
the
home
in
March
2015,
it
was
a
very
difficult
time
for
her,
they
made
the
transition
so
welcoming
and
were
excellent
with
my
mother
who
took
quite
a
while
to
settle.
The
carers
met
her
needs
and
support
her
through
it,
also
us
as
a
family
were
supported
through
it
too.
Nothing
is
too
much
trouble.
The
kitchen
staff
always
make
us

I
would
definitely
recommend

they
have
shown
my
mum
who
now has settled and happy.
