Bedrooms

Residents have a choice of 29 spacious single rooms (4 with private en-suites) and 2 companion (twin) rooms. Each bedroom is thoughtfully furnished and residents are welcome to bring their own furniture and personal items to make it feel like home. For convenience and safety, every room has telephone and TV connection points, and high-speed internet (Wi-Fi) is available throughout the home.

Inviting Social & Dining Areas

Our care home features multiple communal lounges and dining areas where residents gather for meals and relaxation. In the bright dining rooms, home-cooked meals are served family-style, giving residents a choice of menu and the chance to dine together in a friendly setting. Comfortable lounge areas provide a cozy spot to chat, watch television or read with friends. We also have an on-site café where residents and visitors can enjoy tea, coffee and light refreshments in a relaxed café atmosphere.

Moulsham Home is designed for accessible, independent living. All accommodation is on the ground floor, so there are no upstairs rooms to climb to. Wheelchair users and those with mobility needs can easily move around: we have a passenger lift and stairlift on-site, plus ramps and wide corridors throughout. Every room and communal area is wheelchair- accessible, ensuring residents can freely enjoy the entire home. We also provide modern conveniences to make daily life easy: each room has a phone and TV point, and high-speed internet is available throughout for video calls with family or online activities. We maintain a smoke-free environment for the health and comfort of all residents. On-site parking is available for visitors and staff (10 spaces at the front and 6 at the rear), and we’re close to public transport links, with taxis and buses just steps away.

Family-Friendly Visiting & Pet

Policy

We know how important family time is. That’s why Moulsham Home has a 24/7 open-door visiting policy – loved ones can drop in any time, day or night. Families are encouraged to join residents for meals or special events in our lounges and café, creating a true sense of community. For those with pets, we are pet-friendly by arrangement: with prior notice, small pets can visit to bring comfort and joy to residents. Our staff will even facilitate pet visits or visits to a local park together. Additionally, we organize regular outings and activities with transportation provided. A wheelchair-accessible minibus is available for shopping trips, doctor appointments or day excursions, ensuring residents stay active and connected with the wider community.
